Food, booze, fun and fellowship just for men
Kick off the 2012 Diocesan Convention on Thursday, February 16th, 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Cathedral, 310 West 17th Street, Little Rock, AR. Be a part of making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Join us in support of St. Francis House (SFH). SFH is the largest outreach of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas and assists 40,000 needy people each year from all over the state, and provides a program to help homeless U.S. veterans reenter society. http://www.stfrancisministries.com
This is the only opportunity in the entire Diocese of Arkansas where all of the men can come together at one time in the same place for fellowship, a fun time and for a very good cause. Door prizes awarded and a live auction featuring unique items will be included.
Bill Valentine
The keynote speaker, Bill Valentine, will take us through his colorful life and relate some of his interesting tales. Bill was a former major league umpire, executive vice president and general manager of the Arkansas Travelers baseball club. Bill was also a play-by-play announcer, television sports anchor for KARK-TV and has been inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, the Texas Baseball League Hall of Fame and several other halls of fame.

Free tours of St. Francis House will be offered on Friday the 17th for all who sign up. General Colin Powell recently visited St. Francis House and praised it for its work with homeless veterans. SFH is the largest outreach of the Episcoapl Church in the state and helps over 40,000 poor people each year and also has an active program that houses and helps homeless veterans re-enter society.
